The present arises out of the future and the past in the unity of temporality.
Insofar as “Dasein” human life produces “Time”, there is also a world. Indeed the world is neither “Vorhanden” (things that are there by nature) nor “Zuhanden” (made by Man), but is there together with the “outside itself” of the ecstasies. Each ecstasies has a specific “where to” termed the horizontal schema. The schema in which Dasein moves towards itself in the mode of the future, is the “for the sake of itself”.
