Spring arrived, or so I thought,

time for robin’s egg blue

and a few tulips on top.

But it started snowing,

so I splattered some white,

then came the freezing rain,

streaks of blue came in sight.

Well! I thought to myself,

Spring! what a disgrace!

Mother Nature indeed,

threw egg in my face.

Hence, my pallet knife added yellow,

Springtime  this year, was yet to follow.
